To connect from another device, you just open nilidesk.com/connect in any browser, type the 9-digit ID + 4-character password shown by the agent, and you're in.

Yes. nilidesk does only what a remote-desktop client should do:

• Connects to a single rendezvous server (nilidesk.com) over encrypted WebSocket
• Shows your screen to anyone with your ID + password
• Forwards mouse/keyboard input from that viewer back to your computer

It does not read your files, send your data anywhere, modify system files, or run hidden in the background. Whenever someone is viewing your screen, a bright red banner is visible at the top of the agent window.

1. On the remote PC: open the agent — you'll see a 9-digit ID and a 4-character session password.
2. From any other device: open nilidesk.com/connect in a browser.
3. Type the ID + password and click Connect.

It's auto-sent to the email address you used at PayPal checkout, usually within 30 seconds. Check spam if it doesn't appear.

If you still can't find it, go to nilidesk.com/success, type the same email, and click "Look up my license". The key will appear immediately.

No. Your license is bound to your computer's hardware fingerprint, not to any file. Uninstalling, reinstalling, or deleting %ProgramData%\nilidesk doesn't reset anything. When you install again, the agent recognizes the same device and shows Pro active — N days left automatically.

The only thing that creates a "new device" (one of your 3 slots) is connecting from different physical hardware.

Log into PayPal → Account → Manage Pre-Approved Payments → find nilidesk → Cancel. Future renewals stop immediately; your current paid period stays valid until its end date.

If you used a one-time payment (not subscription), no action needed — it simply expires after 30 days.
